Maundy Thursday Passover Supper, 6pm
Everyone is invited to a Christian Passover meal on Maundy Thursday, March 28th, at 6:00 p.m at Trinity Presbyterian Church.
We will remember Christ’s last meal with his disciples before his death and resurrection. Traditional Passover foods will be served as we explore the ancient heritage that Jesus used to institute the Last Supper. We will observe the Lord’s Supper. A meal and time for the entire family to share.
Seats are limited! Please sign up here or use the button below. All are welcome!
Friday, March 29th
Good Friday Service, 6pm
On Good Friday, we remember the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ. The Good Friday service is a penitential service, yet it is also a celebration of the good news of the cross. The service will mirror the paradox of the day in the form, mood, and scripture readings.
“Lord Jesus, it’s hard not to feel conflicted about calling the day of your crucifixion “good.” That there had to be a day when you—the eternally glorious, righteous, loving Son of God, would be made sin for us, is not good at all. But at the same time, that you would freely and gladly give yourself for us on the cross is never-to-be surpassed goodness. It is quintessential goodness.”
- Scotty Smith, “Good Friday”
